Doctor bashing is OK but media Bashing is not
The media (News World India and Delhi Aaj Tak channels) have run clips on 03/12/17 and 05/12/17 with photographs of Dr Vishal Nidhi Sharma as the accused in the Max Hospital case where a fetus presumed to be dead was handed over to relatives showed signs of life later. Only problem was Dr Vishal Nidhi Sharma who had worked in this hospital had left the job more than one year ago. Instead of the resident Dr Vishal Gupta who is allegedly involved the photograph of his namesake Dr Vishal Nidhi Sharma was flashed in news by these contractors of public morality. This error caused extreme anguish and mental agony to the doctor concerned.
With 100 crores defamation case against Times Now still fresh in my memory it would do the cause of doctors some good if these channels were also sued for damages for wrongfully showing the pictures of Dr Vishal Nidhi Sharma.
