My wishes for you in this coming year; Dec 28, 2017
May you waste no time, this year, in courts defending frivolous allegations of negligence made against you.
May no Member Parliament slap you for not seeing his mother on priority.
May you not get blackmailed by a mob to waive off bill or worse to pay on the spot settlement.
May you get courage to marginally raise your consultation fee.
May no neighbour or patient resent you purchasing your new Maruti.
May you have no visits from inspectors and appropriate authorities to check whether you are complying with Section 24 subsection 12 (a) of some useless and absurd Act.
May you get an alternate source of earning to sustain you and your family.
May this New year see no new law which is designed to further subjugate and harass you.
May the years you spent to earn the right to practice modern medicine not be wasted and the sanctity of your hard earned qualification be maintained.
May you not be forced by law to do peritoneal lavage using fresh cow’s urine.
May the doctor who treats you in case of an emergency not be a “Bridge Course” doctor.
May you have a peace of mind not seen frequently in recent times.
May others treat you like a human being and not as “God”
